Copyright & IP Policy
BiPeer respects the intellectual property rights of creators, scholars, and academic institutions. This policy defines our infringement notice procedures and counter-notice framework.
1. BiPeer Intellectual Property Ownership
The BiPeer name, trademarks, logos, domain names, UI designs, graphics, source code, and software architectures are owned exclusively by BiPeer Ecosystem and protected under the Copyright Ordinance of Pakistan and international copyright conventions.
2. User & Creator Content Ownership
Scholars, educators, and creators who publish articles, research summaries, course outlines, or media on BiPeer retain their underlying copyright. Users represent that they possess the necessary rights or licenses to upload their materials.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe in good faith that any content hosted on BiPeer infringes your copyright or trademark, please send a written notification containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Direct URL link or exact location on BiPeer of the allegedly infringing material.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and official email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If your content was removed following a copyright complaint and you believe this was done in error or due to misidentification (for instance, if you have a valid educational fair-use right or license), you may submit a written counter-notice to our designated contact explaining your authorization.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with standard digital copyright policies, BiPeer terminates accounts of repeat infringers who continually upload infringing academic materials or media without authorization.
