BiPeer is a verified cross-university ecosystem built on mutual respect, authentic scholar credentials, and safe career discovery. These guidelines apply to all posts, comments, messages, events, and job listings.
1. Mission & Core Values
Our mission is to empower students, researchers, and recruiters through transparent, verified collaboration. We foster an environment where members can share academic milestones, discover opportunities, and build meaningful professional networks without harassment, deception, or spam.
2. Academic Integrity & Verified Affiliation
- Authentic Identity: Use your real name and genuine academic affiliation. Impersonating other students, university professors, or company officials is strictly forbidden.
- Academic Honesty: Posting live examination papers, unauthorized answer keys, or contract-cheating services is prohibited and results in immediate institutional reporting.
- Institutional Email Proof: Never attempt to verify accounts using institutional domains you are not authorized to represent.
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior
BiPeer maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the following categories of user-generated content:
Bullying, personal attacks, sexual harassment, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or disability.
Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), advance-fee fraud, fake scholarship fees, or cryptocurrency solicitations.
Publishing private phone numbers, physical addresses, personal photos, or academic records without explicit consent.
Pornographic imagery, graphic violence, or sexualized content uploaded to feed posts, avatars, or event banners.
4. Job & Scholarship Posting Standards
To protect students from predatory recruitment practices, all jobs and scholarships must represent legitimate opportunities. Postings requiring students to pay application fees, recruitment deposits, or personal banking credentials upfront are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately.
5. Moderation & Enforcement Ladder
Our moderation team enforces guidelines through progressive disciplinary actions:
- Content Removal: Deletion of violating posts, comments, or media assets.
- Formal Warning: In-app and email notification highlighting the violated guideline.
- Feature Restriction: Temporary restriction from posting, commenting, or messaging.
- Account Suspension / Ban: Permanent termination of platform access for repeat or severe infractions.
6. How to Report Violations
If you encounter content or conduct that violates these standards:
- Use the Report button located on any post, comment, job, or user profile.
- Visit our public safety portal at /safety.
- Email our trust & safety team directly at support@bipeer.com.
